THERE MUST BE A PUBLIC INQUIRY INTO 7/7

Mr. Mohammed Shafiq, Chief Executive of the Ramadhan Foundation
comments:
“As
the inquests into the victims of the 7/7 terrorist attacks begins, the
Ramadhan Foundation once again calls for politicians to agree to a full
public inquiry into the evil terrorism that struck London. I pay
tribute to the victims and their families for their strength during
these difficult years but now we owe them the answers to their
questions.
We
condemn the decision not to award the victim’s families legal aid, this
decision beggars belief, the corrupt MPs get legal aid but these brave
families are refused, we ask the Ministry of Justice to have some
compassion.
We
learn from the inquest that the Metropolitan Police were slow to react
to the attacks and maybe the attacks could have been avoided if security
services had reacted as they knew of at least two bombers, this in
itself proves the need for action.
We
urge political parties to agree to a full public inquiry after the
general election and urge the British people to lobby their candidates
in this election, the victims and their families deserve better.
