ANTI
TERROR RAIDS AND BOB QUICK SHOULD RESIGN
Published: 08/04/2009 23:00
Mr. Mohammed Shafiq, Chief
Executive of the Ramadhan Foundation comments:
“I would urge caution
following the anti terror raids today in Manchester, Clithroe and
Liverpool and clearly state that there have many anti terror raids in
the past where people have been proven innocent and we should await the
conclusion of the legal process before jumping to a conclusion.
The threat from terrorism
is real and Islam forbids this and we urge anyone with any information
to contact the Authorities.
Assistant Commissioner Bob
Quick has committed a major security breach that may have a huge impact
on the security of the nation and tonight he should do the honorable
thing and resign, if he does not then he should be sacked by the Home
Secretary.
Now is the time to come together as a nation and not
have divisions.”
