GENERAL SYNOD BANS CLERGY FROM SUPPORTING THE BNP
Published: 10/02/2009 16.00
Mr. Mohammed Shafiq, Chief Executive of the Ramadhan
Foundation comments:
"I commend the Church of England General Synod for
their courageous decision to ban members of the BNP from the clergy.
The values of Christianity are not compatible with BNP
hatred and fascism.
I now urge the British Government and local Councils to
do the same and ensure that we say no to racism and fascism in the public
sector."
