The Ramadhan Foundation
continues with the second
batch of speakers will be attending the
2nd International Muslim Unity Convention in Kuala Lumpur from 15 - 16
December 2009.
Mr. Muhammad Umar, Chairman of the Ramadhan Foundation and Executive
Chairman of the Organising Committee comments:

the international community who have agreed to attend the 2nd Muslim
Unity Convention in Kuala Lumpur

Ramadan Al Bouti
Renowned Scholar from Damascus Syria
His Excellency Dr Mohammed
Saeed Ramadan Al Bouti is one of Islam’s most respected and
learned scholar, he is known as preacher and deep thinker. His
Excellency Dr Mohammed Saeed Ramadan Al Bouti was awarded the
Islamic Personality of the year Award by His Highness Sheikh
Mohammed Bin Rashid Al Maktoum Prime Minister and Vice President
of the United Arab Emirates (UAE) and Ruler of Dubai.

Imam Sayid Hassan
Al-Qazwini
Senior Shia scholar from Iraq/USA
Imam Al-Qazwini is from holy city
of Karbala Iraq. He comes from a family of scholars, his father
Ayatollah Sayid Mortadha Al-Qazwini, was among the leading
scholars in Iraq and engaged in Islamic activism.
He is currently one of the most
outspoken and influential Muslim Shi’a religious leaders in the
United States. He is the Senior Imam at North America’s largest
Mosque in Dearborn, Detroit and is a regular feature on US
media. |

Professor John L Esposito
Professor Islamic Studies at Georgetown University
John L. Esposito is University
Professor, Professor of Religion and International Affairs,
Professor of Islamic Studies and Founding Director of the Prince
Al Waleed bin Talal Center for Muslim-Christian Understanding at
the Walsh School of Foreign Service, Georgetown University.
Professor Esposito specialises in Islam, Political Islam from
North Africa to South East Asia, and Religion, International
Affairs. |
