Tony Blair is urged today by the Ramadhan Foundation to deal
with the double standards he and his government apply in foreign
policy otherwise we will sadly see more terrorist attacks in the
UK.
We
have rightly condemned the terrorist attacks whether they happen
in London, New York, Beirut or Gaza city but when will he
condemn Israeli aggression in Lebanon and Palestine. When will
he value innocent Muslim lives that are being killed in the same
way he condemns the attacks in London or New York.
Mr
Mohammed Shafiq, Press Spokesman of the Foundation comments:
“We
have condemned all terrorist attacks but we ask the world to
wake up to the reality of the Israeli aggression in the Middle
East
We
hear today that the Prime Minister has said he is going to meet
Muslim leaders in Downing Street on his return from holiday,
unless he reaches out to community groups like ours he will fail
in his task, he will probably be meeting the same faces once
again and carry out a PR exercise with no substance.
Let
him really open the discussion for this nation to discuss the
double standards that are applied in foreign policy”
